Kristen Becker Reed
I specialize in building niche beauty brands by placing them in the world’s top retailers including Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, Beauty Habit, B-Glowing, Bluemercury, Henri Bendel, Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, Montage Resort and Spa, Bacara Resort and Spa, Stanley Korshak in Dallas, Forty Five Ten in Dallas, Joyce and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, Spacenk in the UK, and USA and Mecca in Australia.
I have worked in the fashion and beauty industries for more than 15 years. My career started in a multi-line clothing showroom called L’Atelier with lines such as Earl Jeans, Susana Monaco and James Perse. This is where I learned a passion for selling brands in which I believe and taking them to the next level.
From 2002 to 2004, I was the Director of Sales for Kai Fragrance. I started selling the single oil perfume in the showroom (L’Atelier). From there, I joined the company in-house to run sales, marketing and PR. I oversaw an expansion from a handful of small boutiques to a national and international presence.
Next, I founded my own line, Becker Eshaya, in the spring of 2005 with then head buyer for Ron Herman John Eshaya. By 2007, we had created two fragrances and had a distribution network with a core base of small specialty stores, apothecaries and spas worldwide.
From 2007 to 2012, I represented Sara Happ as Director of Sales and served as an advisor to the Board of Directors.
KBR beauty is the culmination of my career in the fashion and beauty industries. I represent niche brands that have the potential to become huge successes through strategic distribution, visionary product development, publicity, and branding.
